You will know true terror if you look down on them just because they fit in your palm, spirit medium! They are cruel devil beasts that will devour their parents, their siblings... and even their own children!
[Hearing a statement like that. Gundam would believe Maya was channeling someone right now. Although to his recollection Ryuji wasn't dead-- not right this second at least.]
I was born as the result of a union between an angel and a demon! My existence was shunned by both races -- borne into this world an undesired abomination of all life! And... I grew up in near isolation. Pleasantries as presents or toys of childlike rapture? Such things were not meant for a monster like myself and I lived devoid of them.
Yet upon meeting an entity, bearing the title of The Singularity my thousand year period of isolation came to an end. In his pursuit of one day bearing a contract with me and being my servant, he would bring relics to me of unimaginable value to myself and my Devas...
[Who knew you could win someone over just by putting a couple coins into a vending machine and bombarding them with five bags of sunflower seeds.]
Perhaps it was because of my upbringing but I thought... everything he relinquished into my care was truly remarkable. Even despite our separation I can recall the overwhelming power that filled my entire being with each of his offerings... they are important to me.
So. It is... for that reason that this is my cross to bear. If she is to truly understand the power of this item, it must be myself who gives it to her!
